Who we are

Kerbfind is a trading name of A-Type Sourcing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14741477, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.

The service

Kerbfind gives resale estimates based on public market data. Estimates are opinions, not guarantees. You decide what to buy and at what price, and you carry that risk.

Data sources

Sold and live prices come from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Vinted, Depop and Facebook figures are estimates. We do not guarantee availability of any data source.

Authenticity checks (“Legit check”)

Legit check gives an automated opinion on whether photos you supply show signs that are inconsistent with a genuine item. It is not an authentication, certification or verification service, it is not endorsed by or affiliated with any brand or rights holder, and no result (including “nothing wrong found”) is a statement that an item is genuine or counterfeit. Results depend entirely on the photos you provide and can be wrong. You must not describe an item as authenticated, verified or genuine on the basis of a result, and you remain responsible for complying with marketplace rules and the law when buying, selling or describing items. For valuable items use a professional authenticator or a marketplace guarantee. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on a Legit check result.

Your account

Keep your password private. One account is for one person. Scan allowances depend on your plan and reset monthly. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or the data providers.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew monthly (or yearly, if you chose yearly) until cancelled. Cancel any time from Settings → Manage billing; your plan carries on to the end of the period you have paid for. Lookups and authentications reset each month and don’t roll over. Prices include VAT where applicable.

Refunds and your right to cancel

If you’re not happy, email us within 14 days of your first payment on a plan and we’ll refund it in full. After that, payments already made aren’t refunded, but you can cancel so you aren’t charged again. Top-up credits are used straight away and aren’t refundable once spent. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

Acceptable use

Don’t resell or scrape the data, reverse engineer the service, or use it to break any marketplace’s rules.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from purchases made on the strength of an estimate, or for downtime or data errors. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Referrals

Every account has a referral code. If someone new signs up with your code, they get 5 extra free lookups in their first month. For each subscription payment they make while they stay subscribed, we add 20% of that payment to your Kerbfind account as credit, 14 days after the payment (our refund window). The credit comes off your next Kerbfind bills automatically; if you don’t have a subscription yet, it waits until you start one. Credit has no cash value, can’t be transferred or swapped for money, and isn’t earned on top-ups or on payments that are refunded. You can’t refer yourself or accounts you control. If you share your code publicly, for example on social media, make it clear you get credit when people sign up (for example with #ad). We may withhold or remove credit gained through misuse, and we may change or end the scheme with notice; credit already on your account stays.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. Governed by the laws of England and Wales.
